When you load a new workspace, the status of the Shift Lock function that was current when that workspace was saved gets loaded with the multi-window layout as expected. However, that status is not updated in the panel in the main window (to the left of Time) so that you are confused and have to remember which workspaces have the Shift Lock saved with it and what the status was before you loaded the new layout. Then, you type a new symbol or some other function and expecting one or the other, the other may or may not happen, confusing you further. In my layouts, I need all screen space for individual windows and so I overlap the otherwise useless lower part of the main window with a chart window, covering up the status of Shift Lock, so I have to move that chart window down or away and then start toggling the Shift Lock (Scroll Lock) to get it. I miss the old way but I can probably adjust to the new but the status update should probably be fixed if possible.
