I have a big prism that was eating memory.
I decided to see what would happen if I shut it down on the opening of the software.
So immediately upon opening the workspace, I clicked on the X and closed the Prism window.
But the task manager showed that RAM kept going up and processor stayed busy.
I am maxed out on memory on 32 bits with 1.2 G with only 4 charts, no Prism.
It seemed that the Prism kept calculating and is still open in the background somewhere.
Correct, the request for data when a prism starts is queued along with any other charts, portfolios, etc. If the prism has been closed, after the data is received for each prsim cell it will close the data and then release the memory.
